This state-aligned 16-hour online classroom training is designed to prepare trainees for the Minnesota Safety-Qualified Underground Telecommunications Installer certification. The course provides step-by-step, job-ready instruction on utility locating, GSOC compliance, safe excavation practices, traffic control, confined space entry, GHS/PPE requirements, HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) safety, and emergency line strike response.

Trainees will progress through 7 structured modules with mandatory quizzes after each section and a final certification exam at the end. Progress is locked to ensure full completion of every module — no skipping allowed. This training is built in accordance with Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry (DLI) classroom requirements and will be paired with your 24-hour hands-on practical training to meet the full certification standard.
